Tiago Vieira

He holds a degree from ESTC – The Lisbon Theatre and Film School and completed his training in various theatre, dance and performance workshops run by Teatro Praga, Olga Mesa, Vera Mantero, Susana Vidal, Miguel Moreira, Meg Stuart, Marlene Freitas, Joana Craveiro, Amália Bentes, Vitor Roriz, Sofia Dias, Francisco Camacho and Angélica Lidell. He has worked with Mónica Calle, Miguel Moreira, Vera Mantero, Carlota Lagido, Teatro O Bando, Ana Borralho, João Galante, Ana Ribeiro e António Duarte, Rui Catalão, Miguel Bonneville, Ricci/forte, BLITZ THEATREGROUP (Greece), Vânia Rovisco, Mónica Garnel and Catarina Vieira. In 2011, he began to direct and choreograph his own pieces for which he is the dramaturge as well as set and costume designer.  He produces more than one show a year and combines work as a director with that of drama teacher of different age groups.  He’s co-owner of LATOARIA, an artistic creation space in Lisbon.
