Apneia Colectiva

Laboratory for sharing artistic practices for the formulation of a model of coexistence and co-management of the same, produced by PI_Produções Independentes (Self-Mistake). It was a meeting between performance artists that mapped necessities regarding artistic practices of each one and conceived a cooperative model to serve the management of a cultural association, whose purpose would be to serve the artists themselves, their practices and projects. Occupying the CENTA (Vila Velha de Ródão) during one week, this laboratory allowed the assessment of each person's availability for the management of an artists' association, and the definition of each one's tasks in that management, according to a plan and calendar of activities capable of articulating artistic diversity. With the objective of creating a new structure of production, creation, research, publication and diffusion of the projects of the artists involved, this meeting also gave each of them a renewed vision of their work possibilities.
